Armin/Reader Chapter 4: Lingering in Shadows
Stranger Still “What the actual hell?!” Armin glanced at you for a split second before having to run towards the center of the clearing, dodging tree trunks as he sprinted. Ignoring the humans yelling and the titans makeshift javelins, you stepped forward, only for the trunk to tug on your body and jerk you backwards. Jerking forward you realized you were trapped, agony slowly numbing your chest as pain overwhelmed you. Looking around the trunk as much as you could, you found something carved into the bark. Just above the grass, six small, sloppy symbols were etched into the wood, just out of your reach. Fingertips strained in an attempt to reach the first symbol, but no matter how much you tried to pull yourself closer, they remained untouchable. Sighing, you looked around the clearing to see how the others were doing against the titans. Eyes going wide, you realized Levi was limited with his gear as the titans tore the trees from the ground in an ever widening circle
You followed Raiden outside to the soldiers gathered around the small fire. You nodded at Sasha as she stood against the wall, a rifle slung over one shoulder.
“...must’ve had more morality than me. Whereas I just pulled the trigger. I--”
“Armin,” Levi’s low voice made the blond’s eyes widened, “your hands have already been dirtied. There is no going back.”
“Why do you have to say it like that?!” Mikasa shouted angrily, her protectiveness bringing a somber smile to your face.
“Try to just accept your new self. If you hands had stayed clean, Jean wouldn’t be sitt

Marco x Armin (Matchmaker Reader)
They were the two most adorable people in Trost...and everyone in the city knew it. Neither one could take a single step without people smiling brightly and waving at them. Sure, some decided to bully them since there are always people that bully those around them, but these two never seemed to be bothered by the pushing and occasional black eye.
Instead, they shrugged off the scrapes and bruises and smiled as they walked down the street as if nothing had happened. Worried glances would remind them of what happened, but the sun was shining and nothing could keep either of them down.
Except for the irritation that seemed to darken their eyes

Realization
It took three weeks for Levi to decide on a team for the survey trip with Armin. Surprisingly, the captain decided not to take his squad as he called for Mike, Nanaba, Hanji, Moblit, and Mikasa to join him on the excursion. Two days later, Levi ordered them to gather outside HQ for the trip at dawn while everyone else was eating breakfast.
The small team headed out sleepily on horseback within an hour of waking, Erwin informing them they were to take extra precautions at the clearing. They were to attempt to observe unnoticed while looking for signs of what may be causing the titans to group up. Levi scoffed at the order mutteri
He was a ghost you couldn’t forget. One that haunted your every waking hour. It didn’t help that you made sure not to forget him though. You couldn’t bring yourself to forget the one person you cherished more than anything in your life.
You woke to another gloomy morning, eyeing the broken wall to your left, noticing that the small pile of dirt along the floor. More of the wall must have come loose. Not much longer and I’ll end up with a one-room house.
Stepping into the other room, your eyes widened in surprise at the appearance of flowers. Zinnia and candytuft…an odd combination as far as you were concerned.

“I think I messed up…”
Armin fumbled the lid to the coffee cup he was holding, the plastic tumbling to the ground. After a moment of hesitation, he grabbed a new one from the rack beside him and quickly passed the cup to the customer waiting at the counter. He turned to you with barely suppressed surprise.
Not waiting for him to speak you continued, “I haven’t heard from them since that day.”
Armin’s big blue eyes softened with something resembling pity, “Did something happen at the club?”
“No...at least I didn’t think so. They said they had a great time. They even liked Le
Once back in the city, Kenny ordered his men to watch the street when Erwin was brought out to see Reeve’s body. He kept you near him while determining if you were trustworthy or not, but it didn’t take much acting for him to start believing you were truly pissed at the Regiment’s commander. This was one of the few times that you wholeheartedly thanked cosplaying in your previous life; the ability to switch characters was dizzying at times, but it did provide fantastic results in this new life.
Two days after Erwin was taken by the Military Police, you were walking the streets of Stohess. The people were outraged by the Reg

Apartment 217 had remained safe and comfortable for the last five days. Although the three of you had decided to avoid the windows after watching seven other people get torn apart on the streets...only for each one to stand several minutes later. The others living in the complex either never came home or decided to flee the city as soon as the dead cleared the area.
Marco was too nervous to leave when the others did, so you and Petra had agreed to stay as well. Petra had convinced you to wait it out as the military had to respond to a disaster like this. She insisted it was only a matter of time before the army came marching down the streets
Hey guys! I write some originals (including two novels that are still very much WIPs) but mostly I just write a lot of fan fiction for fun and to keep me sane between other major projects.
Some of you may recognize the Shingeki no Kyojin fan fics from my previous account as 'fantasymusings'
